WOLWEKLOOF 4X4 TRAIL
What?
A 73-hectare farm that was once a private hunting reserve for Paul Kruger. The 4×4 trail officially opened less than a year ago. There’s also a 4×4 training academy on site.

Why Visit Wolwekloof 4×4 Trail?
It’s only 35km east of Pretoria, making it the ideal weekend getaway! Once you’re there, you’ll be surrounded by grass-covered hilltops, incredible views, a wide variety of game, and some of the best 4×4 granite rock-crawling available. You’ll also be amazed at how often the trail’s scenery changes; there’s even a short wetland area that can get boggy during the summer months.
Where Is It?
Travel on the N4 and take the Donkerhoek turnoff. Turn right onto the old Bronkhorstspruit road. After approximately 4km, take the Casablanca turnoff onto a gravel track. Follow the signs that say Trompie Off-road Training and Adventures.
