Refund and Returns Policy

1. Definitions

  • 1.1 “ECTA” means the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 25 of 2002;
  • 1.2 “Product” and “Products” means products purchased on our Website through our online store;
  • 1.3 “The CPA” means the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008;
  • 1.4 “The/this/our Website” means https://tyrelifesolutions.co.za and includes the homepage and any other sub-pages thereon; and
  • 1.5 “TyreLife Solutions”, “we” and “us” means Top Draw Tyres (Pty) Ltd trading as TyreLife Solutions, registration number: 2011/138904/07.

2. 7-Day Cooling-off Period (ECTA)

  • 2.1 You are entitled to cancel your online purchase within 7 (seven) days of delivery for any reason and without penalty.
  • 2.2 If you have already made payment for an online purchase that has been cancelled within 7 (seven) days, you are entitled to a full refund within 30 (thirty) days of cancellation.
  • 2.3 Return shipping is at your expense unless the item was delivered damaged or incorrect.

3. Eligibility for Returns

  • 3.1 To be eligible for a return of a Product purchased on our Website:
  • 3.1.1 The Product must be in its original, unused condition and original packaging which is not visibly damaged;
  • 3.1.2 The Product must not have been partially or entirely disassembled, physically altered, permanently installed, fixed, attached, joined or added to, blended or combined with, or embedded within, other goods or property;
  • 3.1.3 You must provide valid proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation);
  • 3.1.4 A return request must be submitted within 10 (ten) business days of delivery; and
  • 3.1.5 The Product must not fall under our non-returnable list as outlined in paragraph 4 below.
  • 3.2 We may impose a reasonable charge as contemplated in section 20(6)(b) of the CPA if the Product to be returned has been opened and repackaged in its original packaging.
  • 3.3 We may also impose a reasonable charge as contemplated in section 20(6)(c) of the CPA for the necessary restoration costs to render the returned Product fit for restocking.
  • 3.4 Paragraph 3.1 applies only to purchases on the Website.

4. Non-Returnable Items

  • 4.1 The following Products may not be returned, except where defective or damaged upon delivery:
  • 4.1.1 Products that have been fitted, used, or permanently installed, fixed, attached, joined or added to, blended or combined with, or embedded within, other goods or property;
  • 4.1.2 Products that show signs of misuse, tampering, or damage;
  • 4.1.3 Products that have been partially or entirely disassembled or physically altered; and/or
  • 4.1.4 Clearance, sale, or promotional Products (unless defective upon receipt).
  • 4.2 These conditions are clearly disclosed on the relevant Product pages, in compliance with ECTA and Google Merchant requirements.

5. Refunds

  • 5.1 Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.
  • 5.2 Funds will be credited to the original payment method.

6. Exchanges

  • 6.1 Exchanges must be requested within 10 (ten) business days of delivery and depend on stock availability.
  • 6.2 The exchanged Product must be of equal value to the original item purchased.
  • 6.3 If the requested exchange Product is unavailable and provided that the exchange request meets all eligibility criteria, a refund will be offered instead.

7. Returns Process

  • 7.1 To return a Product, email info@tyrelife.co.za with your order number, Product description, and the reason for the return request.
  • 7.2 We will provide you with a returns instruction guide.

8. Damaged or Incorrect Items

  • 8.1 You are required to notify us within 48 hours of delivery if your order has been delivered damaged or incorrect.
  • 8.2 We will arrange collection and send a replacement at no cost to you.
